Our Story
Re-opening a village favourite
In early 2023, sadly the previous business on this site closed. There was a groundswell of feeling that the village was missing a high quality bar and restaurant. A group of local residents came together to see what we could do to re-open the site. And so The Foundry Bar & Kitchen was born.
We are a team of seven local people (six in Thames Ditton and one in Teddington (but we forgive him!)), who have joined forces to re-open the business. All seven of us are passionate about the business meeting a real need for the village, both in terms of a venue for customers, employment for local people and trade for suppliers.

We're lucky to have two expert members of the team who will be running The Foundry day to day. Lawrence and Andrew, will be overseeing the kitchen and bar respectively - the rest of us will continue to be supporting behind the scenes.
